IT Operations Engineer

As an IT Operations Engineer you take over second- and third-level support for complex technical requests, work closely with first-level support on escalations, and continuously improve our digital processes and IT workflows through automation, scripting and infrastructure as code. You look after and further develop modern cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS), manage client devices via MDM (Jamf, Intune), expand monitoring and logging solutions, and help simplify technical onboarding, device provisioning and documentation. You enjoy taking responsibility, working in a structured and solution-oriented way, and helping to shape a modern, automated IT landscape together with our team.

Requirements:

  • Completed IT education (HTL, FH, University) or comparable professional experience
  • Motivation to learn and grow in the IT field
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, network technology and cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of the Apple environment (macOS, iOS, Apple devices)
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Service-oriented working style and team player
  • Willingness to continue education and flexible working hours

Your Tasks:

  • Provide second- and third-level support for complex technical requests and incidents
  • Work closely with first-level support on escalations and solution strategies
  • Improve digital processes and IT workflows through automation, scripting and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
  • Operate and further develop modern cloud environments (Azure, AWS or comparable)
  • Manage client devices and endpoints via MDM (Jamf, Intune) and optimize provisioning, patch and update processes
  • Expand monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and help simplify onboarding, device rollout and documentation

We offer:

  • IT collective agreement (minimum €3,175 gross/month for full-time, 38.5h)
  • Actual salary depending on qualifications and experience between €3,300 and €5,500 gross/month (14 salaries)

Senior IT Support Engineer

We are looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer who takes ownership, leads complex projects, and mentors our support team. You will be the primary contact for technical topics and play an active role in shaping our IT landscape.

Requirements:

  • Completed IT education (HTL, FH, University) or comparable professional experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Support
  • First experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization and network technology
  • Experience in MDM systems (Mobile Device Management)
  • Experience in project management and customer support
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Leadership qualities and mentoring skills
  • Agile mindset and team spirit

Your Tasks:

  • Take ownership of complex incidents and major client requests
  • Plan and execute rollouts and migrations (e.g. MDM, identity, networks)
  • Design, improve and document support processes and runbooks
  • Mentor junior colleagues and coordinate with vendors/partners
  • Implement monitoring and ensure operational stability
  • Contribute to knowledge base and continuous improvement
